A rare genre bending blend of Americana roots music, Finding Feathers’ sound draws listeners into universal truths of the human kind, easily sticking in your soul until you hear it again!

HUMAN, Finding Feathers’ debut album themed with realities of mortal existence and experience, released spring of 2026. Feedback is layered with vast sentiments of the human condition, feeling connection and depth throughout the album. Finding Feathers collaborated with ten quality humans and great musicians to bring this project to life. It was recorded primarily at, and mixed/mastered by, Dead River Sound in Marquette, Michigan. This fourteen track album is available for streaming on all platforms.

You’ll often see many feathers on stage with Seth and Desiree (the founding feathers), accomplished musicians and friends join them all along their journeys. At times, just two feathers floating - an acoustic guitar flying, a percussion heartbeat, and two bold voices. 

In 2013 Nashville, Tennessee fused Seth and Desiree Brown, the core members of Finding Feathers.

Desiree is an Illinois native, nature loving, passionate percussionist, meaningful vocalist, and writer. Her debut into authorship and publishing came back in 2022 with a memoir novel from their travels “Desy’s Diaries - awakening to the alternative”. You’ll see her dancing and smiling on stage, and watching the birds fly or reading a book when she’s not keeping the beat and singing along.

Seth is a west coast born and raised, nature loving, prolific songwriter, seasoned guitarist, and soulful vocalist. He found guitar and songwriting early in double digits. Never looking back, songwriter rounds at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, shows all over the US, and most recently the Great Lakes region. He released his original solo project, Campfire Currency in 2021.

After singing across the US for five years, full time road life, they fell in love with the northern midwest. Now, Finding Feathers proudly nests in Upper Michigan, touring the Great Lakes region and beyond in a whirlwind of music, love, connection, and adventure each year. High energy flowing alongside lyrics that impact the masses at festivals, concerts, and great venues!
